Eco Friendly News - Glastonbury Festival goes greener
The UKs Glastonbury music festival has always been a frontrunner in championing Green issues and itself behaving in an environmentally conscious way. In 2009 they will take another step towards carbon neutrality by issuing 2 million biodegradable tent pegs to the festivals campers. The intention being that the festival owners cows the rein habit the location between festivals are not harmed.
You have to admire the constant attempts of the festival organisers to lead by example in the eco friendly approach.
